Helping Hand Care Clinic
Our FREE drop-in clinic is under design and should
be operational by October 2003, insha'Allah. We hope to provide a
number of services to the community. If we can help, we will!
Some of the services we plan to offer will include (but not be limited
to):

Translation
We currently have skilled translators to assist
you in English, Spanish, Arabic and French. This service is provided
at no charge during drop-in hours. If you have a large project which
requires professional assistance, we will refer you or perform the work
for a small fee. You may also submit email or correspondence to I.S.L.A.M.
in Action in any of these languages (except Arabic) and we will respond
back in the same format.

Counseling
We will provide access to a knowledgeable shaykh
for sound Islamic counseling as well as social organizations to assist
families in need.

Transportation
We are currently working to provide either carpooling,
taxi-fare or a travel companion to assist those sisters with special needs
for emergency appointments and errands.

We can help you fill out legal and social documents/forms
for various organizations such as HomeLand Security, WIC, Medi-Cal,
Social Security, SDI, Unemployment and others.
